报告摘要：Thai designs emphasize a lot of wood especially teak which has been with the history of Thailand for a long time. Thai people still use teak in their house and construction not only in the old days but in the present days as well. My presentation is to create a community platform to enable lovers of Thai design, from around the world, to learn about the latest forward-thinking designs in outdoor furniture using teak wood.  The manufacturers in Thailand have cultivated the love of wood and produce fine pieces of outdoor products in Teak for the world markets.

Besides, we also lead discussion to the Thai design in general that we are exploring not only teak but also other forest products and fibers from plants in the diverse designs from modern and contemporary to traditional and conservative through the fair so-called Thailand International Furniture Fair TIFF to understand Thailand design and living style better. You can see from the presentation the creative and producers of Thailand started to manufacture green products long before it was trendy, or the idea of sustainability was on the tip of everyone's tongue. Green is embedded in the culture. The warm Thai people are "living a green life".
